Ostrich inns are a gastronomic specialty in southern Baden. These farms are only open a few months a year and mainly offer home-made products and regional specialties. The BZ ostrich guide provides the most important information on ostrich farming in southern Baden.
When you load the app, you will receive a number of ostriches to give you an initial insight into the functions of the BZ ostrich guide. Thanks to a wide range of sorting options, you can have the ostrich farms displayed according to your own individual wishes - for example, sorted alphabetically by the name of the ostrich farm, its location or according to your favorites. It is also possible to display only the ostriches that are currently open. Or those ostrich farms that are very close by. A simple traffic light system shows at a glance whether an ostrich restaurant is open or not.
With this traffic light you can see on the clear map display immediately where the nearest ostrich farms are located or which ostriches are currently open. The GPS location function allows the distance (as the crow flies) to the ostriches to be displayed. In this way you can also find hidden ostriches with certainty.
